Last minute preparations for the DRAWING TOMORROW! The Organized Village of Kasaan is raffling a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 truck, tickets are $10.00, and the proceeds go towards the restoration of Naay I'waans, the Chief Son-i-Hat Whale House--the only Haida Long House left in Alaska.
Contact the OVK at (907)542-2230, if you're interested in tickets. BBQ Party begins tomorrow, September 5th, by the school at 2:00 PM in Kasaan and the drawings for the truck and Native Art raffles will follow at around 4:30--after selling a few more tickets. Need not be present to win.
