Speaking of basketball in Alaska, I have had the thought that the NBA should hold their all-star game in your incredible state, like the NFL holds their Pro Bowl in Hawaii for the benefit of those who do not get to actually attend games because of how far away Hawaii is. Considering that the Great Alaska Shootout is one of the premier college basketball tournaments, I think the NBA would be quite pleased with the turn-out.
